The Cathedral is in the middle of Winchester, which has a train station within walking distance, and good bus links to Heathrow airport (LHR). It’s approximately a one hour bus ride to/from the airport (nationalexpress.com)

There are many hotels, cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the Cathedral.
